Class schedule

Painting Classes

Oil, and Acrylic painting classes for adults

10:00 - Noon on Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays

Saturday is a mixed adult and kids class

Come enjoy a relaxing creative environment while learning to paint in the style you wish to learn.

If you don't know what style you like, I will help you figure that out!

Here is how it works!

It is a 6-week class, you have 9-weeks to complete the 6 classes.

(Because stuff always comes up to interrupt our me time!)

All the supplies are included. Just wear clothes you can getting messy.

Acrylic classes are $175 and Oil painting classes are $195

We start with the first is worst class. I put you through the ropes of straight lines, blending, double loading,

color theory 101 and the basics of composition.

After this you will pick a painting that you would like to paint (copy). Partially because you will hang it when you are done!

Mainly so we can go through it and look at why and how the painter did what they did.

As you work through this painting you will learn many techniques as well as many tricks we painters use.

All this in a creative, accepting and nurturing environment that you will come to enjoy and perhaps love.I

I have students that have been with me for almost the entire 11 years I have been painting.

It is not that they need me anymore, they just love the class and the lovely people that take painting classes.

Kids Classes

Classes are Wednesday 5:00 - 6:30 or Saturday 10:00 - 11:30

6-week class cost $115

All supplies included, smocks available

The kids also have 9-weeks to complete the 6 week class.

I do the same thing with the kids as the adults with the exception that I do try to make them laugh while they learn.

I believe that if you get a kid laughing during a lesson it will be well remembered.

The parents are of coarse invited to help pick out the painting the child is to paint.

One rule; No critters or people!

These are difficult and I do not want them to feel disappointment due to their selection.

I have a deep desire to help all my students succeed!
